| The Track |
The track was constructed out of six 8' sections 1/2" birch plywood.
Track is 36" wide, and 46' long + two 10" removable switchboxes.
In 2004 I added an extra 8' slow down section to stop the cars.
Sections are attached with 1/4" flat head screws, and t-nuts.

(Above each lane is a bright Amber LED. Phototransistors are mounted below the lanes creating a light detection switch.)
